Science Under the Stars: "The Songs of Mice"

Science Under the Stars presents:
   Bret Pasch (Department of Integrative Biology)
   "The Songs of Mice."

This lecture will explore the broad diversity of acoustic signals produced by mice. From a mouse that sang over the airwaves of NBC studios in 1936 to Neotropical singing mice, the current rock stars of the rodent world, discover the context & consequences of vocal communication in animals with under-appreciated voices.

Science Under the Stars is a free public outreach lecture series in Austin, Texas. Events start at 7:30pm outdoors at Brackenridge Field Laboratory, 2907 Lake Austin Blvd, Austin, Texas 78703. Arrive early for refreshments and fun activities for kids of all ages!
